Last Friday, an “Intelligent design of user interfaces” meetup was held at SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES as part of the internal training program “STLab”*. The meeting was held by Maxim Ivanov, a UI/UX designer at our company.

At the meetup the participants discussed the main principles underlying successful interface design, considered current methods and practices in design, explored how psychology and emotions influence the perception of a picture. The issue of interaction between the interests of users and business sparked a lively discussion during the meeting: colleagues thought about how to find the very balance of interests and satisfy the demands of all interested parties. The event ended with a discussion of the future of interface design: what trends await us? What do users want and are their preferences changing? How will new technologies change the approach to design?

Such meetups are a great opportunity for our company’s employees to gain new knowledge and develop both in the area of their professional interests and outside.
